Presidente do 35º Congresso Brasileiro de Cirurgia Dermatológica
Dear friends, partners, and members of the Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Surgery,
It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I extend this invitation to you, dermatologist: come join us at the 35th Brazilian Congress of Dermatologic Surgery, which will take place in Salvador from April 24 to 27, 2025, at the Salvador Convention Center.
The central theme for this edition will be "Ethnic Skin and Dermatologic Surgery," a topic that will be thoroughly explored by leading professionals in the field through interactive spaces, promoting learning and exchange of experiences. The venue features various environments spread across 14,000 m².
For the scientific content, we will have eight procedure rooms at the Convention Center for hands-on courses.
In another area, at the Institute of Technology and Cadavers (ITC), the Day Hospital will host live demonstrations of various techniques. The structure includes three surgical rooms; a Post-anesthesia Recovery Center (CRPA); four procedure rooms; an anesthesia machine; a generator dedicated to the Surgical Center; and a mobile ICU. Everything will be fully sterilized and in compliance with the regulations set by the authorities that oversee good medical practices.
We look forward to your presence at this event, set against the backdrop of Salvador's lighthouses, which will further illuminate our thoughts and learning. Bahia, a land of tradition and culture, home to the symbol of faith embodied in the Lord of Bonfim ribbon, and home to some of the most beautiful postcards of our country, will also be the stage for significant knowledge and experience exchanges.
We hope to see you soon!
Paulo Barbosa
President of the 35th Brazilian Congress of Dermatologic Surgery
The Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Surgery (SBCD) is an organization dedicated to the study, research, and practice of dermatologic surgery in Brazil.
Since its founding in 1988, its mission has been to advance dermatologic surgery in the country by promoting continuing medical education, supporting scientific events, and encouraging research. The SBCD also sets high standards for excellence in dermatologic surgery and related fields.
The specialty encompasses all procedures performed on the skin and subcutaneous tissue, whether for diagnostic, surgical, oncological, or aesthetic purposes.
The SBCD was created to address the need for an association in Brazil to teach, support, and bring together professionals practicing Dermatologic Surgery.
Over the years, the SBCD has played a key role in the growth of Dermatologic Surgery, which is now considered one of the main areas of practice for dermatologists.
