Message from the President of the 35th CBCD
Dr. Paulo Barbosa (BA)

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I come here to invite my fellow dermatologists and friends to our 35th Congress of the Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Surgery, which, once again, will be held in Bahia, in Salvador.

This event will take place at the modern Salvador Convention Center, right by the sea, with a full view of the ocean.

The hotel network is very close, and just to give you an idea, the most distant hotel from those listed is 14 km from the Convention Center.

The theme of the Congress will be “Ethnic Skin and Dermatologic Surgery.”

We are in Bahia, and it will be a sensational event. Registrations are already open, people are already signing up, all our partner companies are supporting us, and public agencies are also backing us strongly. So hurry up, as registrations are open, and those who register early will have the best experience.

Message from the President of SBCD 2025/2026

Dear colleagues, partners, and friends,

It is with immense enthusiasm that the Brazilian Society of Dermatologic Surgery announces the 35th edition of our traditional Congress, which will take place from April 24 to 27, 2025, in the vibrant and historic city of Salvador.

This Congress not only marks a moment of great scientific and professional relevance but also celebrates Brazil's rich cultural diversity. Salvador, the first capital of Brazil, is a true symbol of our history and the Afro-descendant influence that enriches our national identity. This connection is reflected in the central theme of the event: "Ethnic Skin and Dermatologic Surgery," an invitation to deepen our knowledge about the particularities of skin and explore the latest innovations in dermatological practice.

The event will be held at the modern Salvador Convention Center, a spacious, functional, and strategically located venue offering a stunning view of the sea and close proximity to the hotel network, the airport, and the natural beauty of the Bahian capital.

We will have the honor of bringing together the top dermatologists from Brazil and renowned international specialists for four days of intense exchange of experiences, learning, and networking. The Congress promises to bring new technologies, innovations in dermatology, and unique opportunities for reunions and strengthening professional ties.

In addition to the excellent scientific program, we have prepared a special social agenda, with unforgettable moments celebrating the best of Brazilian culture, because, as we know, learning and relaxation go hand in hand.

The 35th SBCD Congress will be presided over by the highly competent Dr. Paulo Barbosa and will have a dedicated and experienced organizing committee.

You cannot miss out on this great event, which promises to be one of the largest and most memorable in the history of SBCD. Save the date, prepare your cases, and join us in Salvador!

See you there!

Dr. Francisco Le Voci

“We chose the main topics in dermatologic surgery, themes that always have to be included in the congress, as well as new topics.”

Dr. Sérgio Serpa

“We completed a thorough analysis of all the topics that will be addressed and all the professors who will be with us, carefully selected one by one.”

Dr. Meire Parada

“We’ve finalized the scientific program with prominent names. These names will later be sent to the scientific program and shared with the members.”

Dr. Luis Torezan

“It was great determining which symposia and courses are of interest to dermatologic surgeons. Very attractive.
It was well conducted by the president of the scientific committee, Reinaldo Tovo, and the president of the Congress, Paulo Barbosa.”

Dr. Jayme de Oliveira Filho

“The Congress will be a success. Salvador awaits us with an excellent convention center, great hospitals to support all the courses, and a spectacular scientific journey. A lot of work, but we are heading towards the best event we’ve ever had.
